NKBA Accreditation: The Certificate of Proficiency at STLCC is the one of only two programs in Missouri — and one of only 46 programs nationwide — that is fully accredited by the National Kitchen & Bath Association. Students who complete the certificate program will be eligible to sit for the Associate Kitchen and Bath Design exam.
National Competitions: Students in this program have won regional and national recognition, including the prestigious NKBA Student Design Competition and Boardwalk Regional Student Interior Design Competition.
Sit in on a class: We welcome prospective students to sit in on a class at STLCC. Please contact us to schedule a session.
Faculty: All faculty members are certified kitchen and bath designers or NCIDQ (National Council for Interior Design Qualification) certified professional interior designers. STLCC instructors are experienced pros who bring real-world experience to the classroom.

Credits that transfer: The following courses are part of a transfer agreement with Maryville University and the University of Missouri-Columbia: ARC:110, ART:151, ART:150, ART:186, AT:151, AT:152. These institutions do not offer Kitchen and Bath programs. Students would need to transfer to the Interior Design program at Maryville University or the Architectural Studies program at the University of Missouri-Columbia.

The Kitchen and Bath Design program is offered at our Meramec campus. However, for added convenience, students may take general education classes toward this degree at any of our four campuses, our five education centers, and online.
